Tom had read in a newspaper about a "Hail Convention",as in that was the title of the Nazi Rally, being the english translation of Heil, near to the same convention center that you attended your Hail convention. There was no error in your writing Alan, you wrote Hail, and now I know you meant Hail.
Tom Strom is well read, a student of the intellect, and squire of Gothosian charm. He in no way misread that a nazi convention called "Hail Convention" was taking place and merely assumed that Alan Stamps was attending said convention because of the way he raved on and on about attending with a passion only matched by neo-nazis. I now know that Alan Stamps passion for the weather and those "hail" pieces borders on fanatacism which is all fun and wonderful and more than a match for the same devotion a Nazi brings. I am pleased that Alan is not a Nazi, and note: I never claimed he was a nazi, simply that he may have facist beliefs, which is fine, even if he was a nazi, he would be accepted by Tom and the whole Storm Chaser cast, because what we all are becoming is a family. A family of devotion, understanding and love for this movie...and humanity.
With much love,
Tom Strom

I demand a public apology for Tom Strom's remarks ...

I demand a public apology for Tom Strom's remarks referring to me-- the "Kid From Kansas City that could predict the weather" as a facist and a nazi. Unlike Mr. "Moviestar," I have read extensivley not only world history/weather of the time, but have also mastered the gift of READING!!!! When I wrote that I attended a "Hail Convention," it meant hail. And even if I did write heil, Cleery has told me that this is called a typographical error. Perhaps Mr. Strom should spend less time reading his fan mail and more time reading the dictionary, that way he would know that "Sever" is what happens to weathermen who have a nervous breakdowns on the air and that SEVERE is the type of weather that we could have shot last week but Denton was nowhere to be found. A Blue New Year...

Tom Strom here.

I have been receiving all of the fan mail asking about Storm Chaser. When is it coming out? What has been going on behind the scenes. I am well aware of some leaked footage of me seemingly yelling at Alan Stamps in a very real and out of character moment. Let me set the record straight that Alan and I were rehearsing a scene in that footage and at no time have Alan and I come to yelling at each other. Some fans of Allen stamps have brought up the fact that I consitantly spell his name wrong ie. Alan instead of Allen. Alan is a name that I call Allen Stamps because we are that close as friends and have come that close together during this rather difficult shoot.
There has been a sever lack of storms as of late. That coupled with Alan being away at some Hail convention...Let me be the first to say I do not hold Alan's facist beliefs against him. If he wants to go to a Heil convention with all the other White Supremecists and Nazis he is welcome to it. This is America and one of our founding principles has been the acceptance of other views on politics, religion, sexuality and the rest. Alan attending said convention and being away from the set and the unfortunate lack of any kind of weather has dampened our collective spirits. If only our clothes would be dampened too from a Big Storm to film!
Maybe A rain dance would help, or cloud seeding, but I have been told that the budget is just too tight to hire Native American Shaman or a plane full of rain seed... we will just have to leave it up to the natural weather patterns to really bring on the rain so we can capture some true to life, real unaltered storm beauty and storm fear!

Excitement!!!

Tom is a great help, I asked him if he could help me get the "rust out of my delivery on camera," and he said that he would be able to help me as soon as he has time-- I admire his honesty. I wonder if he too is having trouble remembering his lines. Probably not though, he is a big movie star from the "Landmine Island" series. I hope that he does have time to help me, but if not, the Director --- Mr. Denton--- has been encouraging me to take some pills that I understand to be herbal supplements that will encahance my acting. I really trust these folks, and I am already ThinKinG about writing A NEW BOOK!!! abouT WEAther!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-----Dr. Allen Stamps

Welcome to the Stormchaser Blog. The SC crew will be commenting on the actual production of the movie, and I'll be talking about the making of it. Not a whole lot else to say at the moment, but keep an eye on the site for tons of updates coming soon. I'm sure Denton and his DP will be checking in soon, along with Stamps and Strom (the actors... and yeah, before you ask, I think those are their real names.)
We're all looking forward to the upcoming production! Should be great.
